This is the last of the three rare googly eyed head charms I recently bought, this being my favorite!!
Yesterday I was taking the time to pick each of my favorite charms up and study them closely; it's very therapeutic I must say. Anyway I hate to seem like a broken records repeating myself over and over but it amazes me how many rare charms there are out there and in such GREAT condition! You might be thinking that as a new collector what do I know about charms and that's a very good question. I do know that if I haven't seen a charm before after looking at thousands of them, then that would constitute a rare charm to me. Also I find it interesting that the "glorified" charms as I like to call them seem to be fewer and further between. A glorified charm is a name I gave to the ones that are very intricate in design, usually with a plastic loop, lots of paint; many with gold trim, and with tons of detail. To the right on this page you can see the native riding the camel, the boy and the stubborn donkey, and the native riding the ostrich; these are examples of the glorified charm. sigh, love them all
