Celluloid Charms: Elephants the Same?

Since it's become more difficult to find charms I don't have in my collection, I have started to enjoy collecting different versions of what appears to be the same charm. One of my favorite differences is the metal "melted in" loop versus the molded in plastic loop.

Celluloid charms were made using a two part mold. Once the charm was completed, the melted in loop was inserted using a tiny hairpin shaped prong that was heated and then melted into the charm. A metal jump ring was added at some time along the way. The molded in loop was the newer version of a loop and was designed right into the two part mold.
