Of course the metal looped charms were made before they started including the loop in the mold. A good example is these two little bunny boxer charms, so similar but yet so different!
In the metal looped charm you can see that when they inserted the hot metal loop it is almost pushed right through to the forehead. Hmmmm, I'm thinking that the melted plastic would have emanated some dangerous fumes probably causing permanent damage to the health of the workers, no one knowing the danger of such things in the day!!
